The film reveals little-known aspects of the Nazi organization implemented in a camp hidden in Poland, SOBIBOR. SOBIBOR was not a concentration camp but a death camp. The film follows an archaeologist as he tries to understand and reconstruct the workings of the camp. The other side of his task is to search the earth for objects that belonged to the people murdered there. These objects, which this sensitive archaeologist takes great care of, are placed in a museum. A duty to remember so that these people are not forgotten.
