Why would anyone choose a thankless career of balloon-folding, silly trousers, and five-year-old hecklers? Daisy Asquith investigates the lives of four children’s party entertainers. Some love children – nothing makes Potty the Pirate happier than watching their faces light up with laughter – whereas others are more ambivalent.
